چکیده
Introduction: Distal femur fracture are being treated with distal nail, dynamic condylar screw and even addition of a medial plate good clinical results. By this study, we explore the potenti ability locking to counter fractures extra articular, partial or intra- articular nature. Positive results have been brought out by various groups from all over world. Aim: To study clinical, functional radiological outcome femoral managed open reduction internal fixation in skeletally mature patients. Materials Methods: This was prospective conducted January 2018 2021 at Government Medical College Khandwa 6month follow-up patients post-traumatic were included. Follow evaluation done according Neer scoring system. The statistical data analysis carried using SPSS version 20 (IBM, Chicago, USA). p-value

Is Distal Femur Locking Plate a Superior Implant in Distal Femur Fracture?
In spite of advances in techniques and improvements in surgical implants, confusion still prevails regarding use of specific implants in distal femur fracture. Fractures in the distal femur have posed considerable therapeutic challenges throughout the history of fracture treatment. Most of these surgical failures were due to inadequate fixation of the fracture fragments. The Aim of the study is...
متن کاملVolar fixation of dorsally displaced distal radial fracture using locking compression plate.
PURPOSE To evaluate the functional and radiological results of treating unstable fractures of the dorsal distal radius with a volar locking plate. METHODS Dorsally displaced distal radial fractures in 30 patients (11 men and 19 women; mean age, 58.6 years) were fixed by volar locking compression plate and followed up for a minimum of one year. RESULTS At final functional assessment, 24 pati...
متن کاملA Pitfall in Fixation of Distal Humeral Fractures with Pre-Contoured Locking Compression Plate
Anatomically precontoured locking plates are intended to facilitate the fixation of articular fractures and particularly those associated with osteoporosis. Fractures of the distal humerus are relatively uncommon injuries where operative intervention can be exceptionally challenging. The distal humeral trochlea provides a very narrow anatomical window through which to pass a fixed-angle locking...
متن کاملOutcome of Minimaly Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis (MIPO) Technique with Locking Compression Plate in Distal Tibial Fracture Management
Background: Distal tibial fractures including tibial pilon present a challenge as to their best method of management due to subcutaneous location of larger portion of tibia, paucity of soft tissue coverage and precarious blood supply of distal leg. MIPO (Minimal invasive plating osteosynthesis) has evolved as a newer concept to treat distal tibial fractures with minimal articular comminution an...
متن کاملMinimally Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis with Locking Compression Plate for Distal Diametaphyseal Tibia Fracture
Distal diametaphyseal tibia fracture though requires operative treatment is difficult to manage. Conventional osteosynthesis is not suitable because distal tibia is subcutaneous bone with poor vascularity. Closed reduction and minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO) with locking compression plate (LCP) has emerged as an alternative treatment option because it respects biology of distal t...
